Founder Bridget Wyke’s background of leading creative, branding and communications work within large corporations meant working side by side with agencies everyday. Now, as a consultancy Current Brand knows what agencies need to do their best work, and we know what corporate clients expect because we’ve been in their shoes. This gives us great insider perspective that leads to collaboration, efficiency and effectiveness in every project.
Bridget brings 15 years of branding, creative and communications expertise. She led the global re-positioning and award-winning new identity development for the iconic Hilton brand. She also created an award-winning global advertising campaign for Hilton, as well as numerous naming, logo and design projects including Hilton’s first global spa brand – eforea: spa at Hilton. Prior to that, she led global communications for the re-positioning of the Holiday Inn family of brands – the largest relaunch in the history of the hospitality industry – as well as the identity for InterContinental Hotels Group’s first vacation ownership brand and other leisure concepts.
After launching Hilton’s new identity, Bridget founded Current Brand, a specialized branding and communications consultancy which gives companies and agencies full access to a dedicated specialist without adding headcount or spreading internal resources too thin. A real benefit in today’s economy where, even as companies face new challenges, they still place great value on ensuring their brand is relevant.
Current Brand clients include multiple within IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group): the IHG extended stay brands Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites, InnSupply by IHG, IHG Americas Sales, IHG Finance and Technology teams, the Crowne Plaza brand, the IHG Owners Association, IHG Internal Communcations. Other clients include Wits’ End Productions, Mek-Eng Design Services, Hightown Properties, Chick-fil-A in partnership with Tailfin Marketing Communications, as well as CAPA (Community Action & Prevention Alliance) and Next Generation – two North Georgia non-profits.
